Hixon is a substantial male with exceptional bone, head and underjaw,
qualities very much lacking in today's Dobermann. In temperament, he is
very balanced with strong prey drive and aggression. He is open and social
in character but is very territorial. He produces plenty of bone, strong
heads and environmentally sound puppies with good drives (see Von Szita
Alfa).
Hixon was a working security dog and could have easily competed in
Schutzhund if his training was focused in this direction.
His pedigree is a blend of some of Europes most influential show/working
German and Dutch bloodlines, including Ali v Langenhorst, the "B" litter v
Rensloo, and the famous Ebo v d Groote Maat. His dam's pedigree is linebred
on the "A" Litter Hundesport, which essentially provided the foundation for
many of the strong working dogs present in Australia today.
