Amanda vom Stifthub

“This big, impressive and almost masculine red bitch was bred in Germany and exported to Holland by Mr Demankoe of Ferrolheim Kennel. Here she became a solid foundation to what proved be a fast zenith for the Ferrolheim Kennel in the 70's. Due to the great number of Champion and Sieger progeny she produced, that in turn proved to be popular and important breeding animals themselves.
Mr Hansel wrote in Essen in 1972 about her: "a bitch with a lot of substance and strong back, her underjaw is a little weak". With her good character she had no trouble passing Schutzhund 1 (83-72-85) and was also a success in the conformation ring by becoming a German Champion.
She produced some excellent show and stud animals, like Aldo, Alma (exported Norway), Astrid-Amanda, Arram and Armin, Gwendolyn and Glen, and also Keegan vom Ferrolheim.”

Amanda was the foundation female for the vom Ferrolheim Kennel in Germany. She is dam of the dam of the “A, C, E, G, K” litters and below is her most influential litter and offspring:

  • Aldo: SchH 3 and passed the ZTP with 1B for character and SG for conformation. He is sire of the 'di Villa Castelli' “C” litter (Cito, Caienna).
