Diana vom Ölberg

“This black bitch, bred in Germany was owned by Mr. E. Wilking (von Forell kennels). Diane was well known for her beautiful head type. At a show in Osnabrück in 1958 she was described as follows: 'A bitch in perfect condition with a beautiful head and dark eye and correct dentition, good coat and very good movement'. She was Best in Show many times.
Her temperament was correct and she passed her Schutzhund test with 34-71-71. This mark was good enough for a pass in the fifties but would not be good enough now.
When mated to Dirk vom Goldberg she produced a good litter which included Gogo von Forell and Gin von Forell. In 1960 she was sold to Mr. Deipenbrock of the well-known German Kennel 'vom Dornberg'. There she was mated to Bingo vom Dornberg, a famous working dog in those days, though without much success.”
