“This black dog was imported to Holland from Germany by Mrs. Knijff-Dermout. He was a male with an impressive body and a good head. He was excellent in front but not so well-angulated in the hindquarter. The judges in Holland were very enthusiastic about him. He was a real outstanding specimen of the breed. 1t is a pity that he died at the age of two years as a result of leptospirosis.
