Tex von Frankenland was the winner of the Norwegian Working Championship in 1971 and also became Norwegian Sieger in 1970. He was medium-sized, very short bodied and strong backed with a noteworthy quality of head, expression, neck, and front assembly. He was slightly roached over the loin and also had a slightly steep croup offset by a powerful, sufficiently angulated rear. “One of the first German imports to Finland was Tex von Frankenland. Tex was a male with an excellent temperament. His sire was a Leistungssieger and one of the last great dogs out of the van Hagenstolz kennel. His dam was the daughter of Bordo von Fürstenfeld. In Tex von Frankenland's pedigree we see a very strong influence of the von Hagenstolz kennel. His most well-known descendant was Günthersforst Burga, the dam of Guys Hilo vom Norden Stamm.” [by J.M. v.d.
