“One of the most successful Dobermanns of her time, Comtesse Charmaine was bred in Holland. She was a black bitch of correct size, very well built with a nice long head. She had a very nice expression with dark eyes. The only general criticism she received was her tan (it could have been a little darker). This bitch earned many titles. She was Dutch, International, German and Luxembourg Champion. In 1974 she became Dutch Winner and in 1975 Bundessiegerin. She also won the Dutch and German Club Champions titles in 1975. She also passed her Schutzhund test with a score of 84-83-90. It was a pity for the breed that she did not whelp any important progeny which goes to show that a Champion does not necessarily produce Champions.” [by J.M. v.d.
